Live Bands for events – Band Hire in London

I provide bands for artists and events such as weddings, birthday parties, award ceremonies and many more events, specialising in afrobeat, fusion, hip hop, r&b, jazz, pop, funk and gospel music.

How to book and what’s involved

There are prepared set lists and we can also take song requests from clients. We would need a minimum of 1 week to prepare the performance. Ideally, 1 weeks notice is preferable to organise set lists, musicians and set up rehearsals.

Band for Hire rates

The band for hire rates are from minimum £100 per person in London with a minimum of 3 people in the band and up to around 8 people in the band including bass, drums, keyboards, guitar, trumpet and singers. The sound engineer fee is £350. We can provide all the music equipment on request.

We can add saxophone, trumpet/horns upon request, and can do instrumental sets without a vocalist too.

We would need a deposit of 50% of the fee before we can commit to anything.

The rate is less per person if the venue provides most of the equipment including bass amp, guitar amp, drum kit and PA with a mixer and microphones.

On the day of the event we will arrive early to set up and soundcheck. All equipment is PAT tested and I have Public Liability insurance too.

Set variations

  1. 1 x 60 minute set is £100 per musician
  2. 2 x 45 minute sets is £150 per musician
  3. 2 x 60 minute sets is £250 per musician
  4. 3 x 45 minute sets is £300 per musician

With at least a 15 minute break in between sets. Fees are calculated using the Musicians Union National Gig Rates, found here, and the Casual Stage Rates, found here.
