Having Daniel as a djembe teacher for my daughter has been brilliant. He is warm and considerate and shows genuine interest in her progression. Daniel was always able to offer extra ideas, which she found encouraging. My daughter took to Daniel straight away and loved having lessons with him. She has really progressed in her skills and is an enthusiastic player. I wonder where it will take her! It’s been a privilege to get to know Daniel and I would recommend him to anyone.
Andrew Fullagar – Headteacher
“BandLab was a great project for the children. They were all really excited about taking part and we have done nothing like this in school before so it has really complemented our music curriculum well.
About half the group have continued to develop their tracks at lunchtime in their own time so this demonstrates their commitment to the project.”
“Daniel has managed to develop our son into a qualified drummer by taking him from zero grade to a grade 8 Drummer. He was patient, kind, consistent and thorough. He sacrificed time to come home to set up the drum kit and do the lessons by engaging our son into effective participation. We are glad to have Daniel as a drum tutor.”
“I booked the Band Summer 2019 to play a large stadium venue at very short notice. I was a bit worried due to the demand list covering technical issues, timing, insurance and, most of all, the Music as the crowd expect good live Soul, Funk, Disco 90s and Afro Beats. The Band were amazing even went the extra and learned Popular Afro Beat songs! The event was great and the crowd loved it. They are professional – Highly Recommended.”
“Daniel is a reliable and solid drummer who always goes the extra mile to learn and practice repertoire. He has a meticulous attention to detail that doesn’t stop with the music. His organisational skills and willingness to help with whatever it takes to get the job done are what sets him aside from many other great players. Daniel’s warm personality and subtle sense of humour make him a joy to work with.”
“Daniel is a skilled drum tutor and works well with children. His explanations are clear and he sets and follows up on homework. He is familiar with a wide range of styles and music. I highly recommend him.”
